Kevin has an extensive history in the field of research and healthcare. Interestingly enough, he was a Fermentation Specialist at Broomtail Craft Brewery in Wilmington, NC performing research on new strains and applications of yeast and bacteria. For 11 years, Kevin was an intensive care nurse in cardiology in both Florida and North Carolina. He was an inaugural Fellow for the prestigious FUSE-CR Clinical Research Fellowship while a student at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW). Kevin was a non-voting member of the UNCW IRB and obtained certifications from NIH and CITI for human subjects research.
Kevin has an associate’s degree in Nursing from Broward College and a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Research from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He completed a Mathematical Biostatistics Boot Camp at Johns Hopkins University.
