Luis is a seasoned clinical research professional with broad therapeutic experience encompassing cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, immunology, infectious diseases, metabolism and endocrinology, neurology, respirology, and rheumatology. Luis was completing his Medical Degree in his native Cuba when he had the opportunity to flee for the United States. When he arrived, he immediately began a career in Clinical Research as a coordinator while simultaneously going to school to earn his nursing degree. His comprehensive experience also includes trials for diabetes mellitus, asthma, anemia, and several vaccine trials, including COVID-19 and pneumococcal vaccines.
